The California Teleconnect Fund (“CTF”) is administered by the California Public Utilities Commission (“CPUC”) to ensure that eligible organizations have access to advanced telecommunications and internet access services to support their communities.
The CTF program provides discounts on select services to eligible schools, libraries, community colleges, government-owned hospitals, California Telehealth Network participants, and qualifying community-based non-profit organizations. Eligible CTF recipients must receive service in the state of California.
The following services, provided by Cox, are available under the CTF program:
The CPUC determines qualifying CTF entities, discounts, and services. Complete details on CTF information and eligibility requirements can be viewed on the CPUC’s webpage (www.cpuc.ca.gov/ctf/). Information on how to apply can be found at (CTF Applicant & Participant Guidebook)
The CPUC will provide eligible entities with an approval letter via email. Qualified entities are eligible to receive CTF discounts on eligible Cox Services. Entities must provide Cox a copy of this approval letter in order to receive CTF discounts on eligible Cox services. The discounted rates may not be resold to or shared with any other non-qualifying entity or person. Services are provided by Cox California Telcom, LLC and its affiliate.
